We took Abby to the beach a few weekends ago when we were visiting Garrett's parents in Savannah. I had such cute images in my head of her running through the sand with Garrett's brother, playing in the surf with Daddy, and getting some pictures.
Haha.
In reality, Abby hated pretty much every moment we were there. She hated the sand on her feet and hands ("dirty!!"), she was deathly scared of the water, and she had no desire to play at all. Garrett was pretty frustrated but I knew I should have expected that to happen. I mean, she is pretty funny about dirty hands and feet.
Better luck next time! She frequently asks to return to the beach, especially when she sees the pictures. (She saw me posting these pictures, and she keeps saying "Beach? Hold hands with Rylan? Play in the water?" in an optomistic tone. Maybe we'll try for round two this weekend.

Poor Abby, that is HILARIOUS!!! :) I vaguely remember her having that same reaction at lake Thurmond, but now that you mention it I remember her being upset about wet/dirty hands. So much for having a beach bum. Like you said theres always next week.
