I finished two more quilts last week. I love them! Of course, one is a zig-zag quilt - I just love those. I did a meandering quilting stitch on this. It's a small baby quilt - about 40" by 40".
This one is just a scrappy quilt, using the same fabric as the zig-zag quilt. I did a straight stitch quilting on this one. This one is a little bigger than the zig-zag one.
A couple months ago, I bought some fabric to make matching twin quilts for the girls. I bought a fat quarter bundle of this fabric line called Kumari Gardens. I just love the colors (aqua, pink, and yellow), and of course I'm planning to make zig zag quilts with lots of white to make the colors really stand out. I'm excited! I have no immediate plans to make the quilts (I may wait until next summer or something), but they are going to look gorgeous.
Next crafty project on my plate: making a bunch of small things for a little craft fair coming up here in December. A friend and I will be going in on it together, so it should be fun! We already know what we're going to make - I'll show pictures when they're done!
Oh! And Halloween costumes. I won't repeat the old, tired story of my negative feelings about Halloween - you know how I feel. Ellie will wear her tutu and be a ballerina, and I plan to somehow make long hair for Abby to wear so she can be Rapunzel. Garrett and I unfortunately also have to find costumes this year for a party we're attending. Garrett has an idea for his but I'm still lost. Tempted to just throw on a BYU tee and be a BYU fan. Maybe I'll even paint my face. Go Cougars!

HANNAH!!!! I love those quilts. Are either for sale? If not, could I "commission" you to make one like them? I adore them! They are exactly what I've been trying to find for Ruby's room.... but I didn't know how to explain it. They are both beautiful. inbox me! :)
Love these quilts! Amazing.
Go to the party as scraps of fabric and hang some scissors and spools of thread from them.....:). Also, the quilts look great.
I love the colors!
I'll have a baby if you will make me a quilt for it. (So it would be for your future favorite niece or nephew!)
Okay? Okay.
